ELEMENTAL HERBOLOGY BATH & BODY OIL REVIEW

It's rare I say this about a product but my my I LOVE this!

For a while now, I've been using natural oils, epsom salts and essential oils at bath time which is great, but there's something truly luxurious about finding an aromatic oil that smells so gorgeous premade for pamper night.

Products fragranced with essential oils rather than artificial perfumes are really something else, I'm a true believer in the benefits of aromatherapy and this oil added to a bath is a true little luxury at the end of a long day.

The scent is woody and earthy yet with a hit of freshness and musk. It's reminiscent of some luxury sleep and relaxation potions I've tried before too. Put simply - it's gorgeous!

This bath and body oil features Rosemary which is said to work as an anti-inflammatory and helps to stimulate the mind. (I have tons of Rosemary in my garden and the scent is wonderful, one of my favourites) There's also Ho Leaf which is said to be warming to tight and aching muscles and finally Nutmeg, thought to improve circulation to ease aches and pains.

Supposed benefits aside this simply smells fantastic. When used in a bath the fragrance lingers in the air for a while after you take a dip, adding to the relaxing aromatherapy experience. (I find some essential oils can smell amazing when first added to the running water but then quickly dissapate)

Another thing I love about this oil is it's dual purpose. It's incredible added to a bath, yet you can use it directly on the skin for added hydration (and to keep the aromatherapy experience going!). I love to add to the bath, then use a little more directly on my skin for a glorious pamper and heady evening before bed. Pure Bliss!

There's no troubling ingredients in here either. Capric Triglyceride - derived from coconut oil and glycerin - is known to be an excellent skin moisturiser, plus Sweet Almond Oil, Peach Oil and Jojoba Oil; all have fantastic reported benefits for skin. Add in those essential oils and you have a dreamy bathtime awaiting.

If you've never used bath oils before it's worth noting that there's no bubbles here. When I switched from products with SLS to oils and bath salts, it took a little getting used to but I honestly don't even miss bubbles that much now, especially with how amazing your skin will feel after adding oils to the water. Just a little note of warning, be sure to take a little extra care getting out of the bath if you use oils - it can get a little slippy underfoot.

Anyways, If you hadn't already worked out, I genuinely love this bath & body oil. On that note I'm off for a soak!
